A Crazy, Holy Grace: The Healing Power of Pain and Memory, discussion led by Scott Walters
Christianity Today called Frederick Buechner “the father of today’s spiritual memoir movement.” But he also published highly acclaimed novels, sermon collections, and a few books that defy genre, spanning more than six decades. Join Scott Walters on Wednesday nights for conversation about A Crazy, Holy Grace, a collection of some of Buechner’s most loved essays on the ways our most painful memories can be openings into hope and new life. Read chapters 1 and 2 before the first class, if you like. If you don’t have the book, email Scott at swalters@calvarymemphis.org for the readings. But all are welcome to join the conversation, whether you choose to read along or not.
