Gifts through Donor Advised Funds
Name Calvary Episcopal Church as a recommended grant to satisfy annual giving or capital campaign pledge payments. To learn more click here.

A planned gift is one that is legally completed during the donor’s lifetime but whose principal benefits most often do not accrue to Calvary until some future date – usually after the death of the donor. Most often, planned gifts are earmarked for the general endowment or a specific endowed church program – using a portion of the earnings each year to support that effort, in perpetuity. It is your legacy to your church.
Calvary’s Legacy Society is dedicated to recognize those who have remembered Calvary Episcopal Church through bequests or other forms of estate planning. Legacy Giving is separate from the annual stewardship campaign, which funds the yearly operating expenses of our parish. Legacy giving is typically directed to the Calvary Endowment, which continues to sustain and enhance the Church’s ministries for the benefit of generations to come.
Through legacy giving, parishioners’ planned gifts advance our mission to spread God’s love and make a lasting impact on our community. Every bequest, whether a specific dollar amount, a percentage of your assets, or the residual estate, represents a powerful testament of faith and gratitude, leaving an indelible mark on the life of our parish and for generations to come.
Anyone can make a legacy gift of any amount. There are several ways you can make your legacy gift, and each provides unique benefits and can help you to achieve your financial and charitable goals.
Contact your attorney or financial advisor to discern what form of planned gift is best for you and complies with Calvary’s Gift Acceptance Policy. Also, it is important to note that state, federal and estate tax laws can change at any time.
