Volunteers serve 200 homeless and poor neighbors who eat and pray with us here at Calvary each Sunday morning. We scramble eggs, make homemade biscuits, prepare bacon and cheese grits, serve our neighbors, wash dishes, make coffee, and more. We volunteer to ensure our neighbors feel welcome.

Point in Time Count

The Point in Time Count, required nationally by HUD (Housing and Urban Development), provides a snapshot of homelessness in Memphis and Shelby County and is a critical element for measuring our progress in our efforts to end homelessness. Additionally, it helps to determine the number of people who are experiencing homelessness at a given point in time. Volunteers are essential to our success! Nicole Keller is an active solo and chamber music recitalist and clinician. She is on faculty at the Baldwin Wallace University Conservatory of Music in Berea, Ohio where she teaches organ and harpsichord. She serves as associate 0rganist at Trinity Cathedral, Cleveland. Devoted to the development of amateur and volunteer choristers and musicians of every age level, Nicole has created organ and choral scholar programs, developed successful children’s choir programs, and has led choirs on tour.
