Calvary welcomes AA participants to this "open" meeting at noon Monday through Fridays in the Gospel Rooms. Coffee is available. Alcoholics Anonymous is an international mutual aid fellowship with the stated purpose of enabling its members to "stay sober and help other alcoholics achieve sobriety." AA is nonprofessional, self-supporting, and apolitical. Its only membership requirement is a desire to stop drinking.
Find out more »Volunteers serve breakfast to 200 homeless and poor neighbors at Calvary each Sunday morning. Using physical distancing in the alley outside our doors, those experiencing homelessness receive a warm pre-packaged breakfast and coffee to go. Access to items in Calvary's clothes closet is also available.
Find out more »On the second Sunday of each month at 5 p.m., all volunteers for Community Breakfast and the Clothes Closet are invited to join this gathering as we welcome new volunteers, discuss various needs, and hear suggestions for better serving our neighbors experiencing homelessness. It is a great opportunity to see those who sort and prepare clothes during the week and those who volunteer Sunday mornings. Find out more »Purchase delicious soups made from scratch for $5/pint and $10/quart at the Information Desk on the first floor. All money raised from the sale of soup supports Calvary’s Community Breakfast, a ministry that serves a hot breakfast to our homeless and poor neighbors every Sunday.
