Faith at Home
with Allison Pace

Local author and Episcopal leader Allison Pace brings wisdom and lived experience to a conversation about faithfulness in our households at every stage of life. She’ll be speaking today about lessons applicable to just about every home.

Following this conversation, Calvary will offer follow-up small groups for fellowship and connection on Sundays and Wednesdays with her workbook, The Sacred Order of Parenthood

The Sacred Order of Parenthood, Corner Room

Following the wisdom of local author Allison Pace, we’ll offer a series of conversations using her text and learning about the seven truths of parenting. Parents, godparents, aunts, uncles, grandparents, and friends at every stage are invited to connect with one another about this blessed and challenging work.

This is a small group offering in the Corner Room. Participants are encouraged to come to the series and read the text, but all are welcome to drop in.

Have you noticed all the beautiful artwork bringing our new spaces to life? Come hear about the historical pieces we’ve brought forward and the new commissions for this next chapter of Calvary. Sacred Secular Texts

The Inner-life and Inner-workings of the Organ
with Jonathan Ambrosino

For our recently-completed organ restoration, Jonathan Ambrosino of Boston directed the project’s artistic side. Raised in an Episcopal choir of men and boys, Jonathan has spent much of his life researching organs of our exact builder and era. This background allowed him to bring a keen sense of how to get the sound and feel of our Aeolian-Skinner organ closer to its 1935 roots. In this Sunday’s forum, Jonathan will discuss what that sound is and some of the remarkably low-tech yet detailed ways that sound is achieved.

November 30

Advent Festival, Mural Room

Join us on the Sunday after Thanksgiving for our annual Advent Festival. Wreath-making supplies, candles, and some fresh greenery will be provided. To ensure enough greenery for everyone, participants are also encouraged to bring greenery from their own yards. We look forward to coming together for a time of festive fellowship and creativity!

Wreath-making continues at Coffee Hour; supplies will be available for households to make wreaths to take home.
