An event every week that begins at 6:15 pm on Wednesday, repeating until May 4, 2023
Paul McLain will guide us in a discussion of what works and what doesn’t when we seek to join the risen Jesus in transforming the lives of the poor and disenfranchised. We will explore Biblical and current models of difference-making charity. We will also read excerpts from Charity Detox: What Charity Would Look Like If We Cared About Results by Robert D. Lupton. The Rev. Eyleen Farmer and team members of Thistle & Bee will join us on May 3 to share their story of how this social enterprise is bringing about new life from the inside out.
