The EYC (Episcopal Youth Community) meets from 11:30 to 1:30 in the 2nd-floor EYC room on Sunday afternoons. It is open to any youth in grades 6–12 to come together and participate in different fun activities and projects. Lunch will be provided! Sometimes event details differ, so check the youth e-mails or youth text updates.
Each Sunday evening at 5 p.m., all are invited to participate in a quieter, centering time of worship in the Orgill Room. This gathering offers a guided conversation in place of a sermon, new words for old prayers, and opportunities for silence and reflection. Calvary will observe Ash Wednesday with services of Holy Eucharist at 7:30 a.m., 12:00 p.m., and 7:00 p.m. The 7:00 p.m. service will be live-streamed, and childcare will be available.
Education for Ministry, aka EfM, helps the faithful encounter the breadth and depth of the Christian tradition and bring it into conversation with their experiences of the world as they study, worship, and engage in theological reflection together. Gathering is a new opportunity on Wednesday evenings for children and adults to “sit and stay a while” after dinner for an hour of fellowship. Games, books, puzzles, and coloring materials will be provided. Mrs. Jocelyn and friends will supervise children ages five and up for parents who wish to attend a class.
