Established at Truro Cathedral in 1880 and later popularized by King’s College, Cambridge, the Christmas Lessons & Carols service tells a powerful story of hope. With candlelight flickering, Calvary’s choirs of children, handbells, youth, and adults will musically illuminate words of scripture and poetry, accompanied by harp and our majestic organ. We also invite you to join us in singing your favorite Christmas carols. Come hear the story of God’s love as we move from darkness into the light of the nativity.
Enjoy cookies and cocoa in the Great Hall following this service.
