Calvary Episcopal Church celebrates its 103rd annual Lenten Preaching Series and Waffle Shop beginning Thursday, February 19! All are invited to hear this year’s 17 dynamic speakers.
This meal includes special blessings and an opportunity to practice the ritual of foot washing as we remember the Last Supper Jesus shared with his friends. This gathering will conclude around 6:30. Worshipers are welcome to join either or both the Agape Meal and the Maundy Thursday Eucharist.
On the night before he died, Jesus broke bread with his friends and gave us his final mandate: to love one another. Our service includes Holy Eucharist and the stripping of the altar. We end in the darkness, prepared for a long night waiting in Gethsemane.
An indoor walk through Calvary's moving Stations of the Cross around the nave of the church will be led by the JOY Chapter of the Daughters of the King at 10:30 a.m. on Good Friday, April 3, 2026, prior to the liturgy at noon.

Gather at the Calvary altar to begin praying the Way of the Cross, which will continue on a walk through our downtown neighborhood. If you choose to join the walk, dress accordingly, especially with regard to footwear, as it will be 2-3 miles and take approximately 2 hours.
Prior to the Easter Vigil and Paschal Party on Saturday, April 4, grades 6-12 are invited to help dye and decorate Easter eggs to be given out at Neighborhood Breakfast on Easter Sunday morning!
