Ages 0-5 | 5:30-7:30 p.m. Calvary maintains an excellent nursery facility staffed by trained, professional caregivers. Nursery Manager Robbie Phillips and Cassandra Booker welcome children ages 0-5.
Director and Music Educator Mary Jackson leads a rehearsal for Calvary's youngest voices in Kindergarten through Second Grade. They sing periodically at the 10:30 a.m. worship service and at special services. Using a variety of activities, the choristers learn to use their voices through hymns and other sacred songs. Wednesday nights are for any youth in grades 6–12 to come together and participate in team-building activities, games, service projects, discussion, and prayer. At 6:55, we will walk together to the sanctuary for Compline, which starts at 7. Any and all are welcome to join us for Compline.
Calvary’s liturgical five-octave handbell choir, the Calvary Ringers, rehearses weekly on Wednesday evenings and performs in select services throughout the year. New members are always welcome; the ability to read music is not required. Calvary Ringers are directed by Joseph Powell.
Gathering is a new opportunity for children and adults to “sit and stay a while” after dinner for an hour of fellowship. Games, books, puzzles, and coloring materials will be provided.
