Calvary Off-Campus Kickoff Party

We may not be able to party in the Parish Hall, but this parish can still party!

Your IPOs (Interim Party Officers) Clay Woemmel and Jill Piper have devised a schedule of fall and winter gatherings we’re calling Calvary Off Campus. Building on the legacy of Foyers and the generosity of our hosts, Calvary Off Campus will offer five parties from September to January.

The first party is a kickoff event on Saturday, Sept. 21,  at St. Mary’s Cathedral from 5:30-7 p.m., which is open to everyone in the parish. We’ll be serving wine and soft drinks. So that our gifted chef Mary O’Brien will know how many hors d’oeuvres to prepare, please watch your email for a link to Signup Genius for Saturday, Sept. 21. “Calvary Off Campus” will be in the subject heading.

Parishioners who attend the kickoff party will have the first crack at the signups for the four Calvary Off Campus gatherings. They are:

• • • Oct. 18: Bodacious Potluck at the home of the Rev. Katherine & Stephen Bush
    • Nov. 10: Sunday Brunch at the home of Terri & Betty Jo Dulaney
    • Dec. 15: Holiday Open House at the home of Peg & Dan Wahl
    • Jan. 12: New Year’s Resolution Buster, a dessert extravaganza at the home of Kate & Coleman Connell.

The hosts will provide an entree, and attendees will each bring a side dish or dessert. Each party can accommodate 40 individuals.
