Which of those ministries are most meaningful to you? What challenges do you believe we face as a congregation? What are your hopes and dreams for Calvary in the coming years?
These are the questions we, as a congregation, will answer together this fall as we move through a process called Mutual Ministry Reflection (MMR). An MMR is a way for parishes and leadership to assess how well we are fulfilling our responsibilities to each other and to the ministry we share. It seems particularly timely for us to undertake this process now that we are past our parish renovations.
The Mutual Ministry Reflection will be strongest if as many of us as possible participate. That’s why the vestry is hosting several hour-long focus groups in the coming months to answer the questions above.

The information we receive from these focus groups will inform the vestry and rector as they move through the rest of the Mutual Ministry Reflection process, guided by Canon Rob Courtney from the diocesan office. What we learn will guide the vestry’s work over the next year and beyond.
