DESCRIPTION:High schoolers\, please join us at Johnson Lodge at St. Columba Episcopal Camp and Retreat Center (4577 Billy Maher Rd\, Memphis\, TN 38135) for an overnight retreat beginning at 4:00 p.m. on Friday\, March 6\, and concluding at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday\, March 7. The registration fee is $75 a person and includes meals. We will enjoy a bonfire after dinner on Friday and take advantage of the retreat center’s outdoor and spiritual spaces the next morning until lunch. Why some of these might not have been on the menu even as long as you’ve been alive! But Waffle Shop has become the ultimate annual comfort food for many\, so we are pleased to let you know that it will be up and running again in 2026! \nDining is offered in person in the Mural Room on a first-come\, first-served basis. SUMMARY:Calvary Choir
DESCRIPTION:Both professional singers and auditioned volunteers make up Calvary’s primary group of choristers: the Calvary Choir. The choir sings each week at the 10:30 a.m. worship service\, monthly Evensong\, and offers special liturgical services and concerts during the year. While strongly rooted in the music of the Anglican Church\, their repertoire spans centuries and global traditions\, from plainsong to spirituals. In addition to making music at home\, the Calvary Choir travels to England for a week-long choral residency at a cathedral every three years. They are known for both their dedication to and love of music\, as well as their close camaraderie. Interested singers should contact Organist-Choirmaster Kristin Lensch.

DESCRIPTION:Community Ministries provides lunchtime snack bags at the door of the Welcome Inn (82 N. 2nd St.) for our downtown neighbors Monday through Friday at 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. These days and times coincide with the AA meeting at the Welcome Inn held from noon to 1:00 p.m. on Monday through Friday. Help is needed in sourcing food (which must be either ready-to-eat or requiring very little preparation) and in serving. Volunteers who serve will work with Community Liaison Mak Clayton.
