Facing Mental Health Challenges Faithfully! \nThe first step in facing mental health challenges faithfully is to recognize we are not alone. Over our lifetimes\, most of us will face some type of mental health challenge – personally\, within our families\, our church community\, our workplaces\, or our neighborhoods. We can faithfully face these challenges by growing our awareness of mental health warning signs and resources for healing and growth. We can also be faithful in helping to increase access for those most in need of mental health services by becoming advocates\, connectors\, and supporters of organizations like Samaritan Counseling Centers of the Mid-South.

DESCRIPTION:Jared Millson\, Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Rhodes College \nAdvancements in Artificial Intelligence are poised to reshape everything from the economy to our artistic and expressive practices. Since the transformations wrought by these new technologies are both dramatic and accelerating\, it’s natural to approach them with trepidation. But\, as is so often the case\, much of our fear is born of ignorance. In this tutorial\, I provide a brief overview of the field of Artificial Intelligence—its history\, methods\, and philosophical commitments. A highly select\, auditioned mixed ensemble\, the Chamber Choir performs the standard choral repertoire as well as newly composed and commissioned choral literature. The Chamber Choir represents Wake Forest at the University’s annual Moravian Lovefeast\, in its performances with the Winston-Salem Symphony\, and through national and international annual tours.
