DESCRIPTION:It’s been 98 years since plates were piled up with waffles\, chicken hash\, and fish pudding at Calvary’s first Waffle Shop in Lent of 1928. For all that’s changed in our world since then\, Memphians still stream to Calvary each year for these three dishes\, as well as more “recent” additions such as shrimp mousse\, tomato aspic\, and Tennessee bourbon pie. Why some of these might not have been on the menu even as long as you’ve been alive! But Waffle Shop has become the ultimate annual comfort food for many\, so we are pleased to let you know that it will be up and running again in 2026! \nDining is offered in person in the Mural Room on a first-come\, first-served basis. Groups of 10+ can make reservations in advance by calling 901-525-6602. To-go meals will be offered. \n  \n2026 Full Menu

In this interfaith service\, we will look for light together\, raising our voices in song. We will sing and hear familiar and beloved hymns/anthems. There will also be new music\, including “Shine\, O light\,” A new hymn setting of HYFRYDOL by Terry Johnson. The featured performing ensemble is the Inspirar Choir from Rock Hill\, SC\, conducted by Jeremy Mims.

SUMMARY:High School Retreat at St. Columba
DESCRIPTION:High schoolers\, please join us at Johnson Lodge at St. Columba Episcopal Camp and Retreat Center (4577 Billy Maher Rd\, Memphis\, TN 38135) for an overnight retreat beginning at 4:00 p.m. on Friday\, March 6\, and concluding at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday\, March 7. The registration fee is $75 a person and includes meals. We will enjoy a bonfire after dinner on Friday and take advantage of the retreat center’s outdoor and spiritual spaces the next morning until lunch. If this fee is prohibitive\, let Nathan know at nbrasfield@calvarymemphis.org. Email Nathan for the registration form with the subject line: “High School Retreat.”
