DESCRIPTION:At the beginning of the 10:30 a.m. worship service\, children in grades JK-2 are invited to follow the banner out of the church to Children’s Chapel\, which is held in the Corner Room adjacent to the nursery. There\, children experience the Liturgy of the Word in an interactive and child-friendly manner. We sing\, pray\, and hear the stories of the Bible. Children are escorted back to church at the time of the Peace to join their families for Communion. All are welcome\, including younger children accompanied by a parent. Older children are invited to take on leadership roles\, such as reading prayers\, leading songs\, and distributing supplies. Please join us!

Adult leaders explore sacred stories of the Bible with children\, which teaches them the language of our faith. Each session includes storytelling\, hands-on participation\, wondering\, reflecting\, prayer\, and creativity. Grades SK-1 meet in Room A. Grades 2-3 meet in Room B. Grades 4-5 meet in Room C. DESCRIPTION:Godly Play is a Montessori-based Christian faith formation program for children created by The Rev. Dr. Jerome Berryman\, an Episcopal priest and educator. Adult leaders explore sacred stories of the Bible with children\, which teaches them the language of our faith. Each session includes storytelling\, hands-on participation\, wondering\, reflecting\, prayer\, and creativity. Grades SK-1 meet in Room A. Grades 2-3 meet in Room B. Grades 4-5 meet in Room C. SUMMARY:Children's Chapel
DESCRIPTION:At the beginning of the 10:30 a.m. worship service\, children in grades JK-2 are invited to follow the banner out of the church to Children’s Chapel\, which is held in the Corner Room adjacent to the nursery. There\, children experience the Liturgy of the Word in an interactive and child-friendly manner. We sing\, pray\, and hear the stories of the Bible. Children are escorted back to church at the time of the Peace to join their families for Communion. All are welcome\, including younger children accompanied by a parent. Older children are invited to take on leadership roles\, such as reading prayers\, leading songs\, and distributing supplies. Please join us!

DESCRIPTION:Children’s Coffee Hour is a new fellowship offering for our youngest parishioners and their families! We will gather on the patio for late morning fellowship\, refreshments\, music\, and Bible activities. The patio is adjacent to the Calvary Commons\, where our traditional coffee hour takes place. All ages are welcome; however\, those under age 6 would benefit from an adult companion. On wet or very hot days\, we will gather in the Mural Room instead.

DESCRIPTION:All ages are invited to join us for an intergenerational summer Bible study\, “Seeking God Together\,” that will meet during the formation hour on Sunday mornings from 9:15 to 10:15 a.m.\, and will be facilitated by Jocelyn Busby and Nathan Brasfield. \nChildren\, youth\, family groups\, and individuals are all invited to participate. We will meet in the Corner Room to study the Bible through the lens of God’s enduring presence. Following our hearts and minds\, we will explore “God Within Us\, God Above Us\, and God Beside Us.” We will journey through Bible passages that teach ways to talk to God\, make time for God\, celebrate\, marvel\, confess\, give thanks\, welcome all\, support each other\, and serve. We look forward to coming together for a meaningful and fun summer! \n(A note on attendance: Parents are encouraged to attend with their children whenever possible; children aged 6 and up are welcome to attend without a companion.)
