DESCRIPTION:Our nurseries are open weekly on Sundays and at other times for special events. Our caregivers are present on Sundays from 7:45 a.m. to noon. Children aged 0-2 meet in the Infant and Toddler Nursery\, while those aged 3-5 meet in the PK/JK Little Lambs Room. Both are located at the top of the Commons stairway and are adjacent to the family restroom\, which is equipped with a diaper station.

DESCRIPTION:Godly Play is a Montessori-based Christian faith formation program for children created by The Rev. Dr. Jerome Berryman\, an Episcopal priest and educator. Adult leaders explore sacred stories of the Bible with children\, which teaches them the language of our faith. Each session includes storytelling\, hands-on participation\, wondering\, reflecting\, prayer\, and creativity. Grades SK-1 meet in Room A. Grades 2-3 meet in Room B. Grades 4-5 meet in Room C. Classes begin at 9:15 a.m. We ask that you arrive promptly whenever possible. Thank you!

Come listen to their stories and hear what they’ve learned and witnessed growing up in these pews. \n  \nMay 3 (& 17): Job: A new way of reading an old story (Bethlehem Chapel)\nTricia Vesely reintroduces us to a story and a man we may know only through his trials and tribulations. Dr. Vesely is a faculty member of Memphis Theological Seminary whose work focuses on Hebrew Scripture and Christian Ethics. \n  \nMay 10:  Matriarchs\, with Katherine Bush (Bethlehem Chapel)\nThere are many complex women in the Biblical narrative\, and the stories of mothers and mothering are wildly diverse. SUMMARY:Children's Chapel
DESCRIPTION:At the beginning of the 10:30 a.m. worship service\, children in grades JK-2 are invited to follow the banner out of the church to Children’s Chapel\, which is held in the Corner Room adjacent to the nursery. There\, children experience the Liturgy of the Word in an interactive and child-friendly manner. We sing\, pray\, and hear the stories of the Bible. Children are escorted back to church at the time of the Peace to join their families for Communion. All are welcome\, including younger children accompanied by a parent. Older children are invited to take on leadership roles\, such as reading prayers\, leading songs\, and distributing supplies. Please join us!

DESCRIPTION:Children’s Coffee Hour is a new fellowship offering for our youngest parishioners and their families! We will gather on the patio for late morning fellowship\, refreshments\, music\, and Bible activities. The patio is adjacent to the Calvary Commons\, where our traditional coffee hour takes place. All ages are welcome; however\, those under age 6 would benefit from an adult companion. On wet or very hot days\, we will gather in the Mural Room instead.
