DESCRIPTION:Our nurseries are open weekly on Sundays and at other times for special events. Our caregivers are present on Sundays from 7:45 a.m. to noon. Children aged 0-2 meet in the Infant and Toddler Nursery\, while those aged 3-5 meet in the PK/JK Little Lambs Room. Both are located at the top of the Commons stairway and are adjacent to the family restroom\, which is equipped with a diaper station.

DESCRIPTION:Godly Play is a Montessori-based Christian faith formation program for children created by The Rev. Dr. Jerome Berryman\, an Episcopal priest and educator. Adult leaders explore sacred stories of the Bible with children\, which teaches them the language of our faith. Each session includes storytelling\, hands-on participation\, wondering\, reflecting\, prayer\, and creativity. Grades SK-1 meet in Room A. Grades 2-3 meet in Room B. Grades 4-5 meet in Room C. Classes begin at 9:15 a.m. We ask that you arrive promptly whenever possible. Thank you!

Sometimes we get a glimpse of God and of who God calls us to be. \n  \nFebruary 22 – March 15: Sunday Scripture: Lenten Lectionary Edition (Bethlehem Chapel) \nThe Biblical texts for Lent are rich with meaning. Come explore\, discuss\, and learn more about these passages that sometimes just wash over us in church. We’ll take a closer look at each of the readings appointed for each Sunday\, and you’ll come away with a different perspective on our weekly worship. \n  \nMarch 22: The Hospitality Hub in the Bethlehem Chapel \nCalvary helped found the HUB in 2007\, and we continue to partner with them as we care for our downtown neighbors. Learn more about their vital work and what it means to serve those who are unhoused holistically and with compassion. \n  \nMarch 29: A Closer Look at Palm Sunday (Bethlehem Chapel) \nA lot happens in our Palm Sunday liturgy as we move from the entrance of Jesus into Jerusalem all the way to his crucifixion. SUMMARY:Children's Chapel
DESCRIPTION:At the beginning of the 10:30 a.m. worship service\, children in grades JK-2 are invited to follow the banner out of the church to Children’s Chapel\, which is held in the Corner Room adjacent to the nursery. There\, children experience the Liturgy of the Word in an interactive and child-friendly manner. We sing\, pray\, and hear the stories of the Bible. Children are escorted back to church at the time of the Peace to join their families for Communion. All are welcome\, including younger children accompanied by a parent. Older children are invited to take on leadership roles\, such as reading prayers\, leading songs\, and distributing supplies. Please join us!

DESCRIPTION:Children’s Coffee Hour is a new fellowship offering for our youngest parishioners and their families! We will gather on the patio for late morning fellowship\, refreshments\, music\, and Bible activities. The patio is adjacent to the Calvary Commons\, where our traditional coffee hour takes place. All ages are welcome; however\, those under age 6 would benefit from an adult companion. On wet or very hot days\, we will gather in the Mural Room instead.
