SUMMARY:Welcome Inn Lunch Bags
DESCRIPTION:Community Ministries provides lunchtime snack bags at the door of the Welcome Inn (82 N. 2nd St.) for our downtown neighbors Monday through Friday at 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. These days and times coincide with the AA meeting at the Welcome Inn held from noon to 1:00 p.m. on Monday through Friday. Help is needed in sourcing food (which must be either ready-to-eat or requiring very little preparation) and in serving. Volunteers who serve will work with Community Liaison Mak Clayton. DESCRIPTION:Calvary is hosting this year’s diocesan convention. Convention will open with Eucharist at 6 p.m.\, followed by a festive reception. All are welcome and warmly encouraged to attend the Eucharist\, whether or not you plan to attend Saturday’s business proceedings. Nursery will be provided. No registration is required for Friday night\, although it is helpful if you let us know if you intend to use the nursery.
