SUMMARY:St. Clare Women's Silent Weekend Retreat
DESCRIPTION:Come away for a time of rest\, reflection\, and silent community. St. Clare Retreats\, a ministry of the Episcopal Diocese of West Tennessee\, offers silent retreats for women of all faiths. Half-day retreats are held monthly\, and there is a weekend retreat every fall. This year’s fall weekend retreat is set for October 16-19 at St. Columba. A shortened option (Oct. 17-19) is also available. \nThis year’s fall retreat will be led by the Rev. DESCRIPTION:Community Ministries provides lunchtime snack bags at the door of the Welcome Inn (82 N. 2nd St.) for our downtown neighbors Monday through Friday at 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. These days and times coincide with the AA meeting at the Welcome Inn held from noon to 1:00 p.m. on Monday through Friday. Help is needed in sourcing food (which must be either ready-to-eat or requiring very little preparation) and in serving. Volunteers who serve will work with Community Liaison Mak Clayton.
