An event every week that begins at 6:15 pm on Wednesday, repeating until May 25, 2023
Wednesday, May 10, 17, & 24, at 6:15 p.m. in the Library
The most ancient liturgies were once new. And any living tradition is still in the process of unfolding. Join Scott Walters for a conversation about language and gesture and place and sacred text and architecture and how all of the essential elements of our embodied and evolving worship tradition work together as a means of grace in our lives. Input from participants will also help shape a new 6 p.m. Sunday service in the Orgill Room beginning May 28.
Each week short readings from a variety of sources will serve as springboards for our conversations, but no reading is required. Just bring an open heart and a curious mind. All are welcome. Questions? Email swalters@calvarymemphis.org
