June 12: Exploring Exodus 1 & 2: We begin at the beginning.  We will read the launch of the story and Moses’ birth narrative.  Join the Rev. Katherine Bush for a look at the role of women in thwarting the Pharoah’s dictates and the early life of Moses. No need to read in advance, just come on in and be part of a guided discussion.

Mimsy Jones, beloved Bible teacher. No need to read in advance, just come on in and be part of a guided discussion.

June 26: Exploring Exodus, chapters 5 – 10: We’ll take a fast-paced look at the first nine plagues, the back and forth between Moses and Pharoah, and the building drama. *Wednesday, July 27: The Prince of Egypt in the Great Hall

Join the Calvary community in the Great Hall on Wednesday, July 27, from 6-9 p.m. to watch DreamWorks Animation’s The Prince of Egypt (rated PG). This is the culmination of our Sunday morning study of the Book of Exodus (but attendance at the Sunday morning class is not required!). All ages are welcome.

A dinner of hamburger and hot dog sliders, along with chips and lemonade, will be available beginning at 5:15.

Katherine Bush in person in the Great Hall for a discussion of the death of Moses and the first glimpse of the Promised Land.
