Rector’s Forum: Sabbath in a Time of Separation

September 6 @ 9:00 am - 9:45 am

We are living through a time of physical separation in which many familiar markers of time have been rearranged or removed from our lives. Millions of people have lost their jobs, and millions more find that a five day, 40-hour workweek no longer has much to do with the way they move through time. But coming into right relationship with time and work has been central to the practice of Judaism for millennia.

Join a conversation between Rector Scott Walters and Rabbi Micah Greenstein about the ancient practice of Sabbath-keeping and whether it might be a source of wisdom relevant to a time like this, not only for Jews, but for anyone who seeks to live a life of right relationship with God, self, others, and creation.

This forum will be broadcast on Calvary’s Facebook page and YouTube channel.
