On Oct. 24, at 4:00 p.m., the 2021 MICAH public meeting: “Unlocking Our Future” will take place virtually. This annual Fall event is an opportunity to engage the broader Memphis/Shelby County community in the current work and hold our local decision-makers accountable for a more just Memphis. Some of the immediate and critical issues that MICAH are: addressing are MLGW cutoffs, the “adultrafication” of our youth in the criminal justice system, and the unjust killings by police officers. Lend your virtual presence, your voice, and your concern as we carry out the work of equity and justice in our community. Register for the meeting at micahmemphis.org and let’s have a strong Calvary contingent on board. For questions contact Bill Akin at 901-292-3846.
