A beloved teacher at St. Mary’s Episcopal School, Shari Ray, will share some powerful stories of resurrection in the world’s great literature. She’s also a wonderful storyteller herself!
A teacher of literature and writing in the Memphis area for nearly forty years, Shari Brand Ray is currently the Chair of the English Department at St. Mary’s Episcopal School in Memphis. A native Memphian, Shari enjoys taking long walks with her husband Larry, teaching high school English, writing on her back porch while she watches the birds, and Neighborhood Barre. Ray’s first book, Surprised by Imperfection, debuted in November 2022, and her second book of essays releases in the fall of 2023.
