Prayer for Peace

My dad died two days after 9/11. I spent two days, from the 11th until the 13th, watching the twin towers come down--again and again--on the big screen TV in my parents' den, and at the same time, watching my father's breath gradually fade to nothing in the dining room where his hospital bed had been set up.
