Are you ready?

This time of year, my calendar is filled with weddings and wedding related events and appointments. I'm not complaining: I LOVE weddings. Sadly, I often hear clergy, not at Calvary but others elsewhere, cynically complain about weddings, often sharing war stores about bridezillas and wedding coordinators gone wrong. Community matters

Last Sunday did not begin the way I had hoped. Last Sunday, the day when our entire Calvary community was invited to gather on a bluff overlooking the Mississippi River, the weather was crummy. Inspired by our young people

A Jewish friend of mine once told me that our spirits live forever in the lives of our children.
