On Thursdays from 12:00-1:00 p.m. women of all ages and stages of life, various Episcopal churches and other denominations take a moment to gather in the Parish Hall at St. George’s Episcopal Church for a time of centering and a lay-led discussion of the Gospel lesson for the upcoming Sunday. In addition to exploring the context of each Gospel lesson, participants reflect on what the reading is calling us to do as Christians and how we can more fully engage in our relationships with God and others. Women benefit from the support and experiences shared each Thursday and look forward to this time together each week. The Bible study takes place from 12:15-12:45 p.m. to allow women to travel to and from work or home within the noonday hour. Contact Laura Trott, firstname.lastname@example.org, to learn more.
