All Calvary youth and friends in 9-12th grade (the grade you are entering in August 2019), along with graduating seniors, are invited to join us on a summer pilgrimage. We will be traveling to through the Mississippi Delta to Alabama, visiting some of the most historic sites in the Civil Rights Movement, during June 23-28th.
As the Episcopal branch of the Jesus Movement, we dream and work to foster Beloved Communities where all people may experience dignity and abundant life and see themselves and others as beloved children of God. As we journey together, we will be searching for the Beloved Community by striving to tell the truth, repairing the breach, practicing the way, and proclaiming the dream. Together, we will grow as reconcilers, justice-makers, and healers in the name of Christ.
We will be joined on the pilgrimage by youth in the Diocese of Mississippi. This is an incredible opportunity to meet Episcopal youth from across the South! Our stops include Sumner and Jackson, Mississippi and Selma and Montgomery, Alabama.
